Obituary for Gloria Levesque

Gloria Levesque, 88, of Enfield, beloved wife of the late Wallace D. Levesque passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Parkway Pavilion. She was born on March 2, 1928, the daughter of the late Clark Thomas and Marie (Hotkowski) Jones. Gloria was born in Waterbury and has been a resident of the Enfield community since 1958. She was employed with Hamilton Standard for 19 years retiring in 1992. Gloria was a communicant of Holy Family Church in Enfield and was a member of the Elk's Club and the Women's Auxiliary in Florida. She had many talents such as ceramics, dancing, cake decorating. Gloria had an eye for fashion and was a fashion plate. She is survived by her two children David Levesque and his wife Julita of East Windsor and Diane Legere and her husband Edmond of Enfield; six grandchildren, Jacinda Grigaitis and her husband Doug, Suzanne Levesque, Laura Mahan and her husband Kevin, Jason Legere and his wife Michele, Matthew Legere and his wife Melissa and Andrew Legere and his fiancée Carolyn; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to her first husband Wallace she was predeceased by her second husband Richard Alves. Relatives and friends may join the family for calling hours on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, CT. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hazardville Cemetery.
