Obituary for John Michael LaCafta

John Michael LaCafta, 44, lifelong resident of Enfield passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016, at home. He was born on March 3, 1972, in Enfield, CT son of Melvin LaCafta of Enfield and the late Jean (Cecile) LaCafta. John was a communicant of Holy Family Church. He was an avid Denver Broncos Fan, he enjoyed playing the drums, NASCAR racing, and the New York Yankees. In addition to his father Melvin, he is survived by two sons, Michael LaCafta and Daniel LaCafta both of Enfield; five brothers, Peter LaCafta and his wife Leslye of Enfield, William LaCafta and his wife Suzanne of Texas, James LaCafta and his partner Dennis of Florida, Mel LaCafta of Enfield and Joseph LaCafta of Newington; two sisters, Sandra Dykstra and her husband James of Florida and Dawn Conde and her husband Frank of Granby; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
