Robert "Bob" Lee Thomas, Jr., 72, of Enfield, died suddenly on Thursday, May 19, 2016. Born February 4,1944, son of the late Robert Lee, Sr., and Barbara (Stremlau) Thomas, he was raised in East Haven, CT, but spent the past 40 years in Enfield. Bob worked as an electrical engineer for several businesses, including Ensign-Bickford and the LEGO Group, and most recently worked at Baystate Health. He had an appealing sense of humor and was appreciated and loved by his family and friends. Bob is survived by his wife, Laura L. (Manser) Thomas, and his daughter, Kim Thomas-Hein, her husband Joseph "Jay" Hein, and two grandchildren, Michael Robert and Jamie Lee. He also leaves behind family members: James and Deborah Manser and Andrew and Joyce Manser and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the family's convenience.
