Obituary for Helen B. Marchuk (Bielonko)

Helen Bielonko Marchuk, 105, of Enfield, passed into eternal peace Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Evergreen Healthcare in Stafford. Born in Tarrifville, CT, Helen was the daughter of the late Frank and Wyktoriya (Radjiewicz) Bielonko. She had resided in the Enfield community for most of her life and was a parishioner at St. Bernard Church. She was retired from Royal Typewriter after 20 years. She was a longtime member of the former Eagles Club and was also very active at the Enfield Senior Center. Throughout her life, Helen enjoyed travelling and spending time at the beach. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Lamont of Chesapeake, VA; a grandson, John Lamont III and his wife Virginia of the Outerbanks, NC; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law Susan Curtis of Stafford Springs; and a special cousin, Patricia Privitera. She was predeceased by a son, Harold Curtis, a son-in-law, John Lamont, and a grandson, Todd Curtis. Family and friends may gather at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, for a procession to St. Bernard Church in Enfield for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Committal will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery.
