Obituary for Alice Lydia "A. Lydia" Noble

A. Lydia Noble, 102, of Sturbridge,MA, formerly of Windsor Locks, entered into eternal peace, Thursday December 29, 2016 at home in the comfort of her family. Born in Windsor Locks, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Eugenie (Chartier) Bruneau. She was a resident of the Windsor Locks community for most of her life and was a parishioner of St. Mary Church. Lydia was employed at the former First National Bank of Windsor Locks which became CBT. She retired after 30 years of service as Assistant Vice President. Lydia was an avid reader, loved travelling and also spending time doing needlework. She is survived by two nieces, Patricia Jepson and Madeline Azoulay, a nephew Michael Flynt, and several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred Noble; two bothers, Arthur and Francis Bruneau;a sister, Beatrice Flynt. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2016 at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Committal will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Windsor Locks. Donations may be made in her memory to t he American Cancer Society.
