Obituary for Jeannine T. Soucie

Jeannine T. Soucie, 89, of Enfield, widow of Gilman W. Soucie, passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Blair Manor in Enfield. Born in New Brunswick Canada, Jeannine was the daughter of the late Joseph and Zenaide (Sirois) Violette. She was raised in Eagle Lake, ME and had lived in Hartford before moving to Enfield where she lived since 1957. She enjoyed embroidery, reading, puzzles, and especially loved fishing at Rangeley Lake at her family's cottage. A nature lover, she also enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels. Jeannine was very fond of her caregivers who were like family to her. She is survived by five children, Linda Bishop of Fort Collins, CO, Clayton Soucie and his wife Marcia of West Suffield, Molly Packard and her husband James of Fort Collins, Carl Soucie of Colchester, Gail Landry and her husband William of West Springfield, MA; eight grandchildren (Paul, Pamela, Adria, Kristin, Michael, Kristen, Anthony, Savannah), ten great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband , she was predeceased by four brothers, two sisters, and grandson Craig. Visitation hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. Committal will be held at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery at the family's convenience.
