Condolence From: Colin Donovan
Condolence: Ben would always make me laugh at the barbershop. I would walk in the barbershop and Ben would say what's up to me and my brother or mom. Ben would make me laugh by saying, do you have a date tonight, and I would say no, and he said yeah you do haha. Ben was such a good person and a good friend. When Ben would cut my hair he would get every hair off of me. And I heard that Ben passed away in a car accident I was so sad. At Ben's wake I cried my eyes out because Ben was just so young, but I guess God picks a flower to be with him and whoever he picks we got to be ok and stay strong.

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. "Ben the Barber" was a celebrity to my 3 year old son who gets his haircut regularly at Ben's shop. Ben was such a friendly and warm person who was always proud to talk about his family especially his niece. He will be missed. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Condolence: I first met Ben in his barber shop in Somers. First impressions are important and I liked him immediately. Such a clean cut, pleasant, young man just starting out in his own new business! When reading the Inquirer Wednesday night, I could not believe what I was reading. I had just seen Ben five days earlier. So tragic. So sad. I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family, and I will remember Ben in my prayers.

Condolence: What a wonderful person and fantastic barber. This is truly beyond sad. I have followed Ben from his barbering stints in Windsor Locks, South Windsor, East Windsor and now his beloved Somers Barber Shop. He gave a haircut and shave like much older big city professionals. He was very proud talking about his Dad...his buying a house..and his big plans for his barbering career. I was always impressed how such a young man had accomplished such great things. I miss him terribly. I proudly wear a Somers Barber Shop T-shirt in Bens honor. May he rest in peace.

Condolence: When we were kids, you were always the littlest one: Little Ben from down the street. You were the little brother Richie had always wanted and he cherished you deeply. As you grew, the nickname stuck but you were so much more than that. You were an undeniable talent with a huge heart. My family has nothing but wonderful memories of you and the St Pierre clan. You were always there for my brother, no questions asked. To him, you were a brother. I thank you so much for that. We miss you already, Little Ben.
