Jeanine Therese Beaupre (Grenier), 88, of Dale Rd, Enfield and loving widow of Richard R. Beaupre, passed away, Thursday, (November 9, 2017) at her home with her loving family at her bedside. She was born on August 8, 1929 (came in with the crash) in Auburn, ME to the late Thomas and Bernadette (Goulet) Grenier. Jeanine lived in Boston, MA as a toddler and was raised in Lewiston, ME. She treasured her youthful days helping her mom and sincerely loved her seventeen siblings. A conscientious scholar, Jeanine graduated from Lewiston High School in 1947. She left Lewiston, in her early twenties with only a little brown suitcase, for Hartford, CT, where she found employment at Royal Typewriter. She married her love Richard Beaupre on July 31, 1954. They moved to their Enfield home in 1958 and together raised their eight children. Jeanine exemplified faith, family, and love; and lived to serve the needs of others. A great story teller, Jeanine fondly shared her tales while caring for her home and family. Jeanine loved tending to the flowers in her grotto. Jeanine was a founding parishioner and devout communicant of Holy Family Church in Enfield.
Jeanine is predeceased by her siblings Bernadette, Earl, Thomas, Rene, Gerald, Rodolphe, and Raymond. Jeanine is survived by siblings Claudette and her husband Raymond of Enfield, CT, John and his wife Monique, Georgette Clavet, Ginette Gladu, Madeleine Girardin, Peter Grenier, Barney and his wife Marilyn, Paul Grenier and his wife Anita, JoAnne Grenier, all of Lewiston, ME and Marthe Stokowski and her husband Stan of Danville, CA.
Jeanine leaves her loving children, Anne Gilchrist and her husband, John of Novi, MI, Elizabeth Thomas and her husband, Larry of Foxboro, MA, Sharon Begnoche and her husband, Kyle of Broad Brook, Richard Beaupre of Enfield, Rudolph Beaupre and Karen Nowak of Southwick, MA, David Beaupre and Bee Dufresne of Windsor, Angela O'Konis and her husband, Kenny of Broad Brook, Mark Beaupre and his wife, Heather of Zionsville, IN. She leaves twenty-one grandchildren, Jeanine, Robert, Brian, Alison, Bethany, Meaghan, Eric, Emily, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Kristin, Amy, K.C., Kayla, Veronica, Nathaniel, Patrick, Rudy, Natalie, Kenny, Matthew, and eight great-grandchildren; Ava, Hallie, Everett, Kevin, Logan, Scarlette, Marlee, and Bennett. A special thank you to her granddaughter Kristin for providing loving care for her mémère. A sincere thanks to the nurses and staff of Home & Community Healthcare, Hospice Program and to Heaven's Hands Home Care Agency for all the loving care and support during Jeanine's illness. A funeral procession will gather by 9:00 a.m., Monday, November 13, at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield to Holy Family Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., interment to follow at St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery, Enfield. Calling hours for relatives and friends will be held from 3-6 p.m. Sunday November 12, at Leete-Stevens.
