Franklin Warren  Jubrey
Franklin W. Jubrey, 85, lifelong resident of Windsor Locks and loving husband of Gloria (Jones) Jubrey entered into Eternal Rest on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at Hartford Hospital. Franklin was born October 13, 1932, in Windsor Locks the son of the late Austin B. and Elizabeth (Walker) Jubrey. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War era. He retired as Plant Manager from Roncari Industries after many years. After retiring he was employed with PJ Lodola & Sons for several years. He was a former member of the Third Baptist Church in Suffield where he served as a Trustee. Franklin enjoyed traveling, singing, and taking trips to the casino with his family and friends. In addition to his wife, Gloria to whom he was married 62 years he is also survived by his two sons, Warren Jubrey and his significant other Kimberly Hague of Windsor Locks and Wayne Jubrey and his wife, Marion of Bloomfield; three loving grandchildren, Ashley, Gloria and Michael Jubrey; a great-grandson, Aikeem; a brother, James Jubrey and a sister, Elsie Andrews both of Windsor; three sisters-in-law, Geneva Jubrey, Mabel Latibeaudiere, and Ruth Bray and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Franklin was predeceased by his four brothers, Russell Sr., Howard Sr. Charles and Thomas Jubrey; four sisters, Lucille Hall, Madeline Hester, Elizabeth Lash and Grace Mansell. Franklin’s family would like to thank Dr. Kory Tray and the nurses and staff at Fresenius Dialysis Center in Bloomfield along with the many doctors and nurses who provided excellent care to Franklin the past several years. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department 30 East 33rd St. New York, NY 10016 or to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Rd. Second Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540 Funeral services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Windsor Locks Funeral Home.
