Obituary

Cheryl L.Snead, 72, of Ocala, FL passed away unexpectedly on Sunday December 2nd, 2018. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and breast cancer survivor.

Born in East Windsor, CT, Cheryl was a long-time resident of both Enfield and Somers, CT before recently moving to Ocala, FL. She worked for many years managing a cleaning service company in Enfield before retiring.

Cheryl was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. You could often find her spending her weekends spoiling her grandchildren with activities like apple picking, swimming, and doing puzzles. She enjoyed music, baking, gardening, and reading Country Living magazine.

Many describe Cheryl as giving, caring and selfless. She was always known to give the best hugs and would even hug those whom she had just met. She has passed this trait on to many in her family.

Cheryl was predeceased by her parents, Jean and Belcher Cooper. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Snead; devoted sons, Ronald Jr. and Todd (Doiron), cherished daughter Michelle (Gleason); two daughters-in-law, Erica and Migdalia (Doiron); son-in-law, James (Gleason) and siblings Ronald Dube, his wife Bunny, John Cooper, his wife Debra, Julie Griffin, her husband William, Teresa Cooper, Janet Kuo, and Susan Bentley and her husband Michael . She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren; Andrew Doiron, Elizabeth Brown, Ronald Doiron, Devon Doiron, Alexis Doiron, Rebecca Doiron, Melissa Doiron, Cheryl Gleason, and Samantha Doiron.

Cheryl’s family will receive relatives and friends during a visiting hour on Saturday, December 15, 2018, from 12 pm to 1 pm at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A funeral service celebrating Cheryl’s life will be held at 1 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to all of Cheryl’s family. Death is the hardest thing we have to deal with in life. I know my words can do little to ease the pain you are feeling, so I pray that the God of comfort be your comfort now, to help you cope. (2 Thessalonians.2:16,17) Lean on Him in the days to follow and read of our amazing hope for our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. (John 5:28) For the best help to deal with grief please visit JW.org.
