Condolence From: Larry & Liz Jane Stachowiak
Condolence: We are very sorry for the loss of a kind and friendly man. To know Chick was to know a man who knew how to be a loyal husband, father, grandfather, employee, and friend. He had great mechanical and electrical skills. We were blessed with his knowledge and the pleasant ways he would give it.
I had the pleasure to experience six decades of his friendship with the Wright Family. We shared so much over these years - holidays, graduations, anniversaries, weddings and more. We started as neighbors in Hazardville. Wherever we moved Chick made sure his family kept close to my family. Years later the Lockes became the Wrights' neighbors again on their Little Vermont Acre. When I think of "neighbor" I think of a person who shows kindness or helpfulness toward other. Chick was always neighborly to my family. I am grateful for knowing him all these years. Now he can play cards with my Dad once again.
