Old Friend

I have known Gil for 70  years, starting in first grade at St. Matthews school.  We were in the same class together for 8 years, because back then there were 3 grades in each classroom.  After that we attended youth group there.  Then he went on to marry my sister Audrey.  If that wasn't special enough, he then went on to become one of my husbands very close friendds....and chess partners.  They had some tough games, they both were top notch  chess players.  Our families had many fun get to gethers, with cousins being about the same age.  We spendt many thanksgiving dnners at their place.  Gil took on the task of compiling a Rochette family list with birth dates, anniversaries, wedding, etc...and keeping it up to date.  No small task in our very large family.  He was fun to be with, always happy to see you and  would always greet you with his warm smile.  He will be greatly missed.
